Most of us wants to hang out, chill and relax after a day of work. Weekdays are very stressful to us since all we do is work. We can't go out at night since we have an early shift the next day. We don't usually drink beers we are not that into alcoholic beverages, we usually order cocktail drinks if we don't like what was on the menu, we would order juice (mango juice, orange, etc.).
Saturday night, as we all know. A night to be with your friends and go to a bar and enjoy spending time with them not thinking of work. We were invited into a gathering, so we went there. Since we are invited we are a bit too shy to choose our drinks because we are not paying for it. The event was held at TYA bar near ABS-CBN in Quezon City.
The host asked us what we would like to have that night. Unable to choose on what to drink. She recommend the San Miguel Cerveza Negra. A bit hesitant at first, she let us sip on her glass to know whats the taste like. I was the first one to try. i told my girlfriends, this is good. I kinda like it on the first sip I had. (giggles) Then in just a few minutes the waiter gave us a bucket of San Miguel Cerveza Negra. This is a good dark lager with a bready flavor because there is a mild note of dark bread. taste is overly sweet and malty with moderate bitterness and a clean finish. The taste was surprisingly smooth and balanced.

We paired it with one of the bars specialty. A grilled burger, It was called American Pie. I thought It was a pie as we all know what pie is but it is actually a Hamburger but a very healthy one since there is a lot of vegetables inside. A hamburger with a very thick burger patty and potato fries on the side. Lagers are the most commonly consumed beers in the world. They are popular because they are so versatile and go well with many foods. If you are about to drink dark lagers, one of the food you don't have to miss is a grilled burger. A thick ground beef meat, grilled and placed into a sandwich. Served with lettuce, bacon, tomato, onion, pickles, cheese and condiments (mustard, mayonnaise, ketchup and relish). So, that will be a grilled burger and a Cerveza Negra for me.
Now, I can say Drinking experience that’s above the ordinary is when you taste one of these lifestyle beers made by San Miguel. This is a drink you can actually devour when you want to relax.
